The Mauritius Food Standards Agency (MFSA) in collaboration with The Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry – MCCI carried out a training session with Food Business Operators (FBOs) on the Food Act 2022 and Food Regulations 2024. The training was hosted at the MCCI and Mr. Gaungoo, the Officer in Charge of the MFSA acted as resource person. He gave an overview of the new food legislation. There was also a Q&A session to provide FBOs with the opportunity for clarification on specific issues. The aim of the training session was to help the FBOs to comply with the law.
